• roasted red peppers from a jar 4
  • 1 cow cheese Mastelo® , thickly sliced
  • capre one spoon
  • olive oil
  • lemon ½, juiced
  • garlic ½ clove, crushed
  • crusty bread to serve



Fry the cheese until is tinged golden brown. Divide the peppers and the cheese between 2 plates. Mix the caper with 1 tbsp olive oil, the lemon juice and the garlic and spoon over the top. Add some lemon slices.

Serve with crusty bread.
